Interestingly, in ancient Ukrainian understanding, the three corners of the diamond are held by a woman, like the three corners of a home, and only the fourth corner belongs to a man. This symbolizes the integrity and interaction of different principles.

Diamond-shaped patterns were embroidered on wedding towels and the bride's wedding attire. She was supposed to wear clothing embroidered with diamonds until the birth of a child, as this symbol served as a strong protective charm.
